Subwoofer surrounds

I bought two subwoofers the other day. I finally got around to building a box today and I noticed that one of the subwoofers looked a little different. I realized that the cone on one of the subs looked a little pushed in or sucked in is what I mean. The other subwoofer looks fine. I was wondering if this would affect performance? Or if anyone has had the same problem? I just wanted to see if anyone can give me some input before I call the manufacturer in the morning.

Concept PT. I owned these subs before an the surround was nice and plump. However, on one of the subs I bought it looks like the cone is pushed in, causing the surround to look thinner than usual

They are the exact same subs. They came in the same box. Same model. Hooked up to a JBL 1200.1 at 2 ohms, seperate chambers. If you look at the box from the side one of the subs looks like it is out more than the other, the surround I mean.
