Subwoofer Sounds odd.

My MTX thunder 6000's two 10" and whenever the bass kicks in my subs, they sounds like looseish or crackly if you understand what i mean. Does anyone know what the problem could be? Yes the ground wire is secure.

yea air leak. feel around the gasket of the sub for any air comin out.

Heres the Setup, nothing great but its all i can afford and i got it for free.

2 10" MTX thunder 6000

2 6.5" MTX thunderdome axials on the doors

2 4x9 Pioneers Rear

2 6" Pioneers Front Dash

350 Watt Vr3 Amplifier

Its nothing great, but It was all working before i bought a lower gauge wires. What do you think i should do. I went from 4 gauge to 8 gauge and a 4 gauge to a better condition 4 gauge ground wire. Do you think that i should use the 8 gauge ground wire? I tried it and it didnt amke a difference for the most part, but then again it wasnt in the best place. so i dont know. Why would it be making such a wierd noise like its blown out...
