subwoofer repair - what materials to use for foam / cone

looking for something that is good for repairing some dings & such in the foam surround & semi repairing the whole in the cone

silicone? CA of some type? haven't repaired before but think I'm gonna do this to fix these defects

I used liquid electrical tape and it works pretty good. You can buy them in the automotive part in walmart, even comes with a small cap brush so you can give it a nice even coat.
