Subwoofer recommendations

Hello, I'm looking to replace some audio equipment that was jacked from my vehicle a short time ago. Luckily the fools left my alpine spr 60-c door speakers and my jx 1000/d and jx360 4ch amps so at least I'm not starting from scratch. The subs that were taken were jl w0v3-4 12' and I'd like something close to them.

Number of subs preferred:2

Size preferred (if configuration allows):12

Budget:Around 100-150$ per sub or less

Power to be used (which amp(s), include which resistance):jx 1000/d 1000w rms @ 2Ohms

Space available (take measurements, do not guess):Jeep Cherokee

Goals:Replace

Listening habits:Old school rap loud

Worst case I'll grab a pair of jl w0v3-4's and a cheap box for around 280$

I'm open to a single sub that would run 1000w rms @ 2Omh

Quick question, do most fu subs have a 3 week turnaround do to them handcrafting them? What's the best way to get a box, I was running a generic sealed box before. That cad ultra looks tempting, you think 2x sa e12 would be better than one sa 12d4 ver3? 2 soundqubed hds212's or 2 soundqubed HDS312. Anyone have any experience with The Cadence S2W12D2.V2 they look pretty good for the price.

Not a big fan of new Cadence. Sundown e 2 will have more come area. Sa I would go with a single 15. There are a lot of people where are you located. Yes fi psi fu etc are built to order. Fi ssd also a good choice

Not enough power for 2 hdc. A custom ported box with any of these subs will blow away what u had

dude that fu be good, 1 cab ultra also, they all be good.. as was said if u have room u could do 1 2.5" coil 15 like the fu be loud, 2 new sundown E 12's be good ported $280..

By time you pay enough for a decent prefab, figure out it ***** after the new wears off and get a new one to rise repeat..... just do it right the first time

I just got prefab looks like one on my avatar both have same smallish port but are at least tuned right.. most prefab aren't even the size they say (1 on sonic and amazon for 1 12 says 1.8cf but it's like really1.25 which mean tuning is way off) only prefab box I've seen for 2 subs that was maybe close was ground shaker with round ports but I don't know how long the ports were so not real sure about tuning but box was big enough that ports looked right anyway but u could get one built for what that cost..

My buddy asked me to add a budget bass setup to his civic with some strict budget requirements. I found what looks to be a decent source for ported prefab enclosures but I won't recommend them until I hear it in his ride. The enclosure appears to be pretty solidly made so I'm optimistic. I'll post after we get it installed once the **** rain here lets up.

I stay around Tacoma, if anyone knows someone near hear or Seattle that fabricates boxes please let me know. I really want a single fu750 12" or a 15" but that 3 week turn around is brutal...

I do build enclosures but as you said...when the weather gets better. I'm done seeing snow and rain!!
