RAM 1500 regular cab: 2 x 10" = best SPL I'll get?

Hi ladies/gents,

My name is patricio2626 and I'm a bassaholic. I just purchased a RAM 1500 regular cab with bucket seats and would like to cram all the SPL that I can into it. I had a JL Audio ACP110LG-TW1 installed last week but this really isn't enough. I need the hair-blowing, vision-blurring lows that I used to have with my old Buick (2x15's), and even my previous Silverado regular cab (4x10's with bench seat). I don't want to make my own enclosure (I may be flexible on this) and don't want to lose legroom. I've been looking at this: DODGE REG CAB 2-10" DOWNFIRE VENTED W/ AMP RACK , and was thinking 1 x JL Audio XD1000/1v2 + 2 x JL10w3's. Of course, 12's would be preferable but I don't really know I would cram them back there unless we're talking shallow-mounts (ugh!). Do you think I'm on the best track here with my shopping list above? Anything better that you know of? Wife and I are professionals so budget is flexible but would like to stay

better option for price and spl. whats the mounting depth. We can get you twice as much with that budget fox acoustics make a great product

Had that fox box with 2 sa10's on a skar t2000.1 and it slammed.

That's the newer skar amp. Not as durable

@mclerico83 I like the TS1.3 because I already have 4ga pulled and don't really wish to upgrade that. That, and it's $100 less than even a refurbed XD1000/1v2. Thank you for the relevant experience @garychoffmann ! I guess I didn't think far enough ahead with the 4ga wiring. They wanted to wire 8ga for the ACP-110 unit, but I asked them to do 4ga in case I decided I wanted another. I didn't imagine that I'd need more...

@mclerico83, nice find for $59! I suppose I could run it myself and just follow the same path the audio shop did. Haven't done it since my 20's but can't stomach the idea of paying for this to be done twice. As far as battery, I don't know where I would stick that thing (?)

easy just run it where it was already ran. keep the 4awg ran for maybe a 4 channel in the future. run them both to the battery
