Subwoofer question for the gurus

Alright, I have a dilema with choosing the right sub(s). I want the best possible SQ and the ability to get loud. Here are my options:

(2) 15" Diamond D6

(2) 12" Diamond D6

(2) 12" OZAudio Matrix Elite

(2) 15" Elemental Designs Ov.2

(1) 15" TC SOUNDS TC-3000

I would get a w1jl 10, but thats just me. FTW they say

2 12" Subs, if you want SQ, 12s are the way to go, they can obviously get loud as well.

Any of the subs listed would work for you.

Keep in mind that overall SQ will depend on a LOT more things than just sub choice.

Definitely look into the rl-ps.

yup.

I always though 1 15 is good for SQ and decent SPL and 2 12s is for more SPL assuming that they are the same subs.

i thought it was 15 is good spl, decent sq and 1 12 is good sq decent spl and 2 12's are good sq and spl making them a combo of sql

well look at the differences though. 1 15 will most likely go lower than the 12s (All depending on the box though) and 2 12s will have twice the power, that is if you are giving them all they can take. For example if you have some 500 watt subs. 1 15 will get 500 2 12s will get 1000. Thats what I was saying. But the 15 should have a decent amount of SPL compared to the 2 12s.
