Subwoofer problem

I've got two DD9518s in my car right now and today after playing them REAL hard, I have a weird noise coming out of one of them.

I looked in the back and found that one of the wires came out of the amp, so I put it back in and the noise was still there.

When I go to push the speaker in, there is absolutely no coil rub.

The noise it's making kind of sounds like a piece of plastic rattling around behind the cone or something.. it also only does it on higher frequencies (35+)

any ideas?

sounds like a seperated spider to me. if its a lower spider you're screwed, if its an upper one you can probably fix it with some ca glue if you know what you're doing and have a little luck on your side. Otherwise, bend over sir it's recone time.
