subwoofer poping

hi my type r makes a popping sound on some songs at a high volomes not all songs just the really bassy songs i dunno what it is any input would help

the audio shop said its the why the amps set, but its set fine i think , im thinking its becasue when it gets to the point when its popping my lights are dimmin hard so i open the back seat and look at the amp (amp has voltage on it) and when it pops the amp goes from 14.6 downb to 12.1 so i think , mabe a cap would fix this.

any ideas on this would help. the sub sounds great other than when i turn it up to its point

12v is fine thats not your problem

my jl w1v2 did the same, its poppoing because its moving move than it should. Sometimes a bad ground can cause it, or the amp has something messed up on the board.
