Subwoofer or 6x9 speaker for midbass?

Hello! I have 5.25 speakers in my door. I was wondering how I'd go about using an 8" sub, or a 6x9 in a box, as just mid bass? What amp and EQ would I need to use to set the crossover to lowpass at 200hz and highpass at 80hz? Thanks!
