subwoofer not working, need recommendations

i have a diamond audio tdx 12". I think one of the wires inside the subwoofer is loose. Every time I tap or push the sub it works. Is there anyway i could repair the sub? i'm not sure how to take it apart, or if i can. any suggestions? thanks!
