Variable pitch blades allow for adjustment of it's pressurization of the enclosure. This is how it makes sound and changes frequency.

No it wont sound just like a plane flying overhead. Ive never heard one of these things, but if it just sounds like a fan in a box, rather than an actual subwoofer making subbass, I doubt they'd be calling it a subwoofer. Im certainly not going to make and SQ comments lol, but in theory this should work, and be quite efficient.

but to add to this... id also call BS, while the principal seems ideal, i cant see something like that doing what they claim it is doing. and for nearly $1300, i would rather buy subs, amps, and enclosures of a more traditional nature //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif . and also LoudCrownVic, quick drum hits would be reproduced by mid-bass drivers, not sub bass drivers //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif . mid-bass is where all the punch and emphasis is delivered, sub-bass itself isnt very punchy.
