Subwoofer cuts in and out..?

There is constant power to the amp, I checked with one of those power things (idk what they're called) but for some reason the sound cuts in and out of the sub. Oddly enough, I noticed when I picked up the amp once when the sub wasn't playing that it cut in real sharp then cut back out. Just recently I learned that whenever I press the bottom of the amp moderatly hard, the sub would come into play!(Amp isn't bolted down, as i'm still fiddling with construction //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif) What is the prob..?
