Subwoofer Cleaning/Maintenance...

I just bought a pair of Eclipse 8712.4 off BassAddictJ. I remember how nice these subs sounded to me when I was younger so I couldn't pass it up. Because they are older subs, I wanted to make sure I did everything in my power to clean them and condition them so as to prevent cracking and extend their longevity. Does anyone have any tips for me?

put them in the dishwasher, use mild soap, and set the cycle to gentle...
