Subwoofer choosing help...RF Punch 800a2

OK, my amp is a RF punch 800a2. its the 2ohm's one.

200x2 rms at 4 ohm

400x2 rms at 2 ohm

800+ at 4 ohm bridged.

Its the old school one. So if it gives 200x2 @ 4 ohms, I guess this speakers should sound great right?

Yes, 2 polks in 4ohm stereo mode would sound fine...but you are not optimizing that amp. Bridged at 4, or wired down to 2ohm is where you want that amp. Try and find 2 dvc4 subs

That amp will very likely blow 1 Type r

those polks are DVC4 aren't they? It's just that I am getting a great deal on these two polks for 60 buck both. I previously had a single 10'' kicker, and it sound pretty good, but I blew it up pretty quick.

well...its fine as long as you dont mind using what is essentially a 1000rms amp on front stage...

And if those Polks are dvc4, then yes get them and wire in series for a 4ohm final load and bridge the amp

I think that it's not putting out good power then cuz. Have a friend that has a jl amp power his front stage and his alot louder than mine I can get mine loud but it starts to clip and I have my gains adjusted correcttly... Btw I have a hertz hsk165 and he has o2 audio front stage
