Subwoofer advice

I am looking for a couple 4 ohm SVC, 8 ohm DVC or 2 ohm DVC 12" subs that will be suitable for use in separate 1 cu ft boxes. I am currently using a pair of Pioneer Shallow mount 12" subs, but want something that is more efficient than the Pioneers are. Frequency response needs to go down to 20 Hz and each sub is connected in series with a choke for a cross over frequency of 159 Hz. These are used in a set of home stereo speakers I built. I added these about two weeks ago to enhance the bottom end of my home stereo speakers.

I thought about that, but 159 Hz was the only frequency I could find exact values for the capacitor and choke. Given these are for home stereo speakers I did not want the subs crossed over real low as that would require larger chokes and capacitors which are a bit expensive. I've looked at Parts Express, but I was not interested in anything they had. I'm looking for a frequency response of somewhere between 20-25 Hz. I may check with Crutchfield. I would go with 15" subs, but I don't have room for two 3 cu ft boxes. The subs are balanced with the rest of the speakers as they are used simply to reproduce all frequencies under 159 Hz.
