whats the LE, xmax and what type of spiders your using.. personally i think FS is too low but it does have its advantages..

A guy over on CACO ordered 16 of these two weeks ago for a build //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif. I can't wait to see his setup complete, as well as the dual and single setups as well. For anyone curious, I will be running 4 of these in my personal vehicle on a Sundown 2500 more then likely (amp setup may change).

I just asked because someone else asked in another thread and this sub was recommended over the RE SEx. You already know what sub I want. I'm not even thinking about Se's. I've ran the Se's already.

The spider was stiffened up a bit from the first prototype so Fs is closer to 26-28 Hz production.

Linear x-max by 70% BL is 21mm one-way

3.37 mH on LE in series on the D2 model (3.8 ohms DCR)

its hard to say how it stacks up against a se til someone dose a actual test. i know for a fact the soft parts used in a se arent ment for punishment. the spider is the weak point in there sub. a soft poly/cotton that wares out easy. the motor is good same as a sx so with a recone can handle 1500rms easy.

what do you mean with a recone it can handle 1500rms are you talking about the Subtilis if you recone it it will handle that much ?

Yeah man, I had the old Se's that were made for punishment. Everything you said about the SEx seems to be true. I could tell the spider was weak when I held the sub in my hands.

Older RE = fine, newer REx's = tbd

was talking about the se because it was compared. the se can handle 1500rms if reconed with better parts but the se and sx use the same motor if you didnt know...
