OK guy's its 4 am and my head is blank right now //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif Do i need to use the subsonic filter on my amp with a seald box ?

All so what should i set the low pass to ? dose 50 hz sound about right for a sealed box

a ported box definately has high excursion below tuning. a sealed box has its own equivilent of tuning (Frc), but for systems with a Qtc sufficiently high, excursion will be about the same at 20hz and 40hz, or could be a bit higher at 40hz.

thus to protect aginst overexcursion would mean setting the SSF to 40hz. but thats no good. Overall, its better just to limit excursion of a sealed box by adjusting gains to limit power to a level where overexcursion doens't occur. If overexcursion doesn't occur at rated power, then there is no need for the SSF at all.

the lowpass is subjective. keep in mind that its trying to blend sounds together. if your subs are overpowering, you might end up with bad results.
