we are all entitled to our opinions, and that's fine, but you seem to bash everyone that does not have what you like, i will give you that you know some things, but most of what i see from you in most all peoples post is negativity, oh you should get this and that, whatever, you are a waste of time, now you are going to throw out all of this i know more then you and i am smarter then you BS, and i don't give a $hit, so do your thing and i will just ignore you.

People always say the same thing. But it's just repeating false info. You said you could buy 2 subs for equal. Well you bought a powerbass for 1 of greater value.

Sundown Zv3 instead of the X.

To be honest though, The best sub will be the one in the best subwoofer enclosure. Go out to your car, measure the max Depth X width X height before you even bother buying any sub. The box design is what gets you loud and heard from blocks away. If you have no room, then its a lost cause.

1. DDs. American made soft parts built to order how you want it. Best glue in the game hands down.

2. W7s. The most linear and loud sub you will ever hear. They are not for everybody. They are what sundown tried to copy but they couldn't keep the cone area JL did 12 years ago.

3. W6. Sound quality winning driver for YEARS. Not the loudest but it will get the job done.

The R and SA and way down the list if the others are in budget.

I would do 10s like said or a single higher line 12. 9512 on a M3 or even M4. But you will need electrical.

The people that say DD is high, have you ever checked on pricing?

Never said to get Rs..Just that Ive heard them at several shows and that they do get down.But for the price of Rs, Id snagg up a pair of HDS310s or a pair of XFL10s.The Rs are the only thing on his list that I would consider without smashing the wallet.Not knowing a budget really leaves everyone towards naming any and all non mainstream brands for the vehicle.

Either way I hope you are adding a alternator.

Really depends on what amp he runs,and power.I know that the ELD Bypass should be done to maintain voltage,and not sure if he would really wamt to void any warranty, or even if the vehicle is being financed?Im running the stock alt, with big 3 ,two agm batts,on a Mmats 300.2D@2ohms @1500 rms on a pair of HDS310s in 4.0cuft @32htz without any issues with the ELD bypass,Though My Chits PAID FOR.Adding another Alt will not solve the amperage issue that all Honda motors have with the charging system alone.Keep Hope Alive ran a vid/thread about the Hondas charging issues regardless of placing a High amp alt on or not.

Ive never ran Skar,So I cant say, but have heard them at shows,not sure how reliable they are but did sound pretty good,Stepping up from the Sa series of Sundown is a major plus, as well as an expense(thats up to you) and they do make a reliable and excellent line of subs..the SQ HD series I can vouch for due to I am running them, and slamm nicely on the daily,and worth the money spent,ABass, I can also vouch for as of the TNT and XFL version that Ive ran and still do,and worth my hard money spent(10s and 12s).No one can tell you what to buy, yet at the least give you our true experiences of what we have and do use that are much better than the mainstream that most buy in which you can get a much better/reliable /performed woofer for your money that will last,and perform.

Just because its trademarked doesn't mean its the same sub design. Thats like saying this v12 Lamborghini murcielago is exactly the same as a ford fusion just because ford just bought out Lamborghini. (lol in its wildest dreams)

also only you have the cool dd dealer bro

every other god damn dd dealer in the west coast charges $900+tax or more for 9500 series sub. I CALLED up 8 DD dealers in a few city radius and thats the average.

over here in the west coast, theres a lot of wheelin and dealing going on. IF you go in, expect to bargain like nuts and maybe, you might be only ripped off by a little bit.
