subs

I want to get RE subs but am unsure of how to go about doing it. I either want 2 SE 12 inch subs, 1 SX 12 inch sub, or 1 XXX 12 inch sub. All will be in vented boxes with 2 cubic feet, maybe slightly more per sub. I would like them to be tuned in the high 20s low 30s. They will be running off of a Memphis 1000d amp, 1100 watts rms. What would you choose?

I'd go with the single XXX just b/c I like what I hear about it and I like to see the look on people faces when you say,"no dual 15 only 1 12" But I am a underdog try of person so...

IMO the SE's are the way to go. The xxx would just laugh at 1100 wrms and 2 SE's would have more displacement than the SX.

the single SX is nice, but not in this comparison, you will love the 2 SEs for clean SPL, but then the single XXX will hit very hard with excellent SQ

Im only vote for SX but its cuz im a badass. XXX if u got the SPACE and Money. SX if u wanna be hardcore. 2 SEs wouldnt take up too much space Cost as much as XXX.

id go with the xxx they hit hard with good sq there dang amazin, but sometimes it just looks better to have two subs rather than one and the se's are nice aswell. re is off the hook though!
