Subs?

Alright im writing this cause i want to get some advise from all u music maniacs , about what kind of subs to get, what kind of amp, give me some tips to make my car sound good. I looked online and i found few subs i liked (around the price im looking for).. here JL Audio 12W3v2-D2 12 , alpine SWR-1222D 12" Type-R and kenwood kfc-w3011 .. i really dont know what kind of amp i need , i would really appreciate if you told me thxs

first we need to know what your price range is for the sub and amp? also it would help to know whether your looking for just plain loud (SPL), to sound good (SQ), or you want a little of both wich is (SQL). when we know these things, we will be able to give you a general idea of what you will need.

K.. my price would be around 300 all together thats is if its possible.. the sound looking for SQL, or just SQ...

there are many choices for a sub around 150-200, but to name a few that are geared towards SQL- a phoenix gold RSD, CVR, MAW-12, type R(in the right box),pioneer 3004/3002SPL. idk you have alot of options there. as far as amps you need to find a sub and then buy an amp to fit.

JL has great stuff, but IMO and everyone else on here they are wayy overpriced, and you can get better for the money. now kenwood makes very good amps, but i would stay away from their subs.

i think your best bet would be a couple of mach 5 audio MAWS, and then get you a good amp to power them. you can pick up a couple 12's for around 100 a piece over at http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com, and they are very good drivers. just my .2 cents.
