alright so i am on a realy limited budget so can everyone check this link and tell me what they think about this sub and am

also i was wondering if you need an amp for your subs and an aditional amp for the speakers or if you can just connect them both to one amp

Speakers as in your door speakers? They're generally ran off the HU unless you get some that require an amplifier, then there is a lot involved.

I'd personally say pick up a decent set of used 12's and a decent amp for about 200 bucks, and put them in a nice box and you'll be happy

Dont go with the cheapest stuff out there, there is stuff that is just a little more expensive that will perform 3x better

One decent 8" sub in a nice ported box would crush those 12's on that amp in a sealed, maybe even mediocer ported enclosure...in all aspects

RE8 or Crystal CMP8 and a profile amp will be nice.

So myvote is, if you can spend a little more money , is to look around these forums and in the used section, ask a lot of questinos and get a little bit better equipment...just me though

And of course in a sweet assbox, I'm sure those could sound all right but...*shrugs*

*IDEA* two 8's, a nice ported box, and a decent little amp, for it all will run you about 350, maybe 400 and it'll sound terrific in SQ and will give you a lot better output than those two 12's...keep in mind that even for those 12's you were going to be spending money for the box...

If you dont want to spend much money...do this

There is a guy on this forum that has two Audiobahn 10's in a prefab enclosure, they have blue LEDs on them and everything - buy them off him for like 100 shipped(what he's asking) and put a 600 watt amplifier on them, and BAM it'll sound 2x better than those thigns up there ^^^

Its still blingy, chingy, dingy

And it'll sound mediocre...

Although I dont like lower end Audiobahns at all

Good point on the Arcs, noclue who jason is but, the subs in a decent ported box would be 10x better than those suggested

I wanna put four ported 8" Pyles in my single cab F-150 and see how they do, I have an 1100w amp, peak the box at like 55hz lol, BAM HOE
