Subs, wiring, cd player, and mainly can I install a "kill switch" for my subs?

Hello,

I am new to car sound systems. I've only owned one car before and it only had a tape deck so in my new vehicle I would like to install a cd player, subs, all new door speakers, tweeters, and a kill switch to shut off my subs when I'm in certain towns where their are "sound laws".

I know what subs I want Rockford Fosgate P1S815's I've already got the box for them, but I need to know what amp I need and how to wire them into a cd player. Is there any specific cd player I should get? I'd like to keep my whole sound system Rockford Fosgate if possible. I also desire to install a "kill switch" of sorts, is this possible and is there anywhere I can get a wiring diagram for doing so?

toggle switch on the subs amp remote wire. but why all RF?

RF no longer makes source units and when they did, people often complained of it lacking in the highs department no matter what settings were applied. I don't know if that was actually the case because I did not use one myself, but our local shop here often complained of that. I sort of doubt it, but be forewarned.

I currently have in my posession a source unit from RF that my friend Victor sold me, I've heard it and it sounds fine to my ears so it's what I plan on installing to begin with. If I do have any problems I swap it out at a later date but, currently being that I'm working on a tight budget I just need to know if I can do what I want to do. I.e. installing a kill switch with the subs I plan on installing and what size (Ohm and what not) amp or amps I will need to run them properly? Thanks for the warning though, I'll be sure to let you know how it sounds once I get it setup and see if I can hear any problems.

Because some of the towns around where I live have very strict rules applying to car audio and while muting is a viable option I don't know about you but I hate driving without any music going so if I mute my system completely all I'll hear is the sound of a holed exhaust system and a timing belt...So no. But, thanks anyways
