subs went up in smoke what to do?

2 12in rd alpha v3 dvc 2ohm subs went up in smoke today from clipped to death...no coil on any of the subs read any number on the tester....whats wrong with the subs and how much would it be to repair?

replace or recone and for future refrence when they sound like chit, good idea to turn it down.
