Both are great designs, both sound amazing. After that is is personal preference, that is really all that can be said.

Unfortunately, you cannot judge a driver just by what topology is used. That would certainly make things a lot easier.

Exactly. Softparts play as big of a role, if not bigger, in a subwoofers sound than the motor topology does. However, having a good topology does give you a better starting point with which to work, if you choose to take advantage of it.

I am interested to hear all of the different subs that use the XBL^2 motor. I know of a few such as AudioPulse/Tc Sounds, AE, and Creative Sound but I want to know if there are any others out there. Thanks Guys =]
