I am tired of replacing my Kappa 12.1 subs. What are some good brands that can handle the power of my amp and have good output and quality. Price wise, I am looking to spend about $450 each for the subs. Also, they will need to fit in a small box (1 to 1.5 cubic ft).

The birthsheet says 1175 watts at 12.5v at 2ohms. Looking for something that will handle that power with good sound quality. Need a box around that size to fit in my Maxima. I have the kappa perfects in a .75 qlogic box (came with the speakers) It takes up a nice amount of space (2 speakers and 2 amps included). I was leaning toward the idmax (on backorder) and the oz matrix elite. Have not listened to either but heard good things about them on this forum. How do these compare to the perfects? Also like i stated earlier, price range would be around $450 per sub. Thanks for the input!!

How is the sound quality on the 9500? The dealer I bought my Thunder axe componets from was trying to get me to buy the 12's.

sound **** good & loud, Im going for ported now, i want more out of it.

If you get 12 9500 It only required 1.5 cu ft sealed.

I would go with 12" SI Mag's. I have almost the same setup right now besides the amp of course. 2 12"s with about 500 watts each in 1.5cu ft sealed each. They sound AMAZING and hit really hard for only have ~500 watts to them each. i will be getting a new amp soon and will be sending them 500-600 each daily and 1000-1200 when i want my ears to hurt a lot.

You could also try the RL-p. Many people on the forum run these as well and never heard anything bad about them.
