subs speaker wire ripped :(

i repaired a simular break on an older re xxx15. on this sub it looks like the wire goes into those holes. id say give it one more shot if you can find more tensil wire. i HAPPEN to have an extra one somewhere in my apt i could send you if i find it. you'll wana cut those "endcap" looking things that the wire appears to go into. snip uit down until there enough exsposed wire to make a good solder/glue job. you'll wanna do the same idea as whats in the link. just make sure the wire is not oo long or too short for the cone's movement, and glue down the solder joint on the cone. haveing those endcaps may help out alot as far as haveing a solid place to glue to instead of the cone. also remember glue and suspension spiders dont mix well, watch that glue. i used to have a a bunch leftover from the bit that i got. however right now i think there's only 1 left floating around my apt somewhere. i'll look for it.
