Subs sound different after reconnecting

I needed extra room in my truck so I unhooked my subs from my amp and removed them. After reconnecting them they sound different. Not near as much bass. All stereo and amp settings are the same. I tried readjusting the settings in stereo, amp, and converter. Please help. Thanks in advance.

Something came loose somewhere. Probably inside the box

They are in separate boxes. I carried them maybe 20 feet and they sat on my table all weekend. I'll open them and check though. Thanks

Thank You! That fixed it. Been hooking these things up for years. Can't believe I overlooked something so simple.
