The alums dont sound bad at all. But the other audiobahn sounds like crap IMO

You can get alot better gear for the $$, esp if you're ordering from that site:crazy:

and I bet if you put 1000 watts on them they'd fry, esp over time.

if chrome and flash made drivers sound good, audiobahn would be the champs of subwoofers, but unfortunately that is not the case.

THe guy above me will you like elaborate why are they bad i understand all the comments about looks...

im not ordering from that site the subs i am they are 99 bucks retail at 300 but i can get amp and wiring kit for 179.99 i mean like will that amp push enough if i run it at 2ohms at 800 watts. i mean i want it to hit hard and my buddy has an alpine 500 watt at 2ohms and his makes my hair vibrate.. so will it hit hard..

well the sound quality sucks. i know a few people with audiobahn subs and the bass is sloppy and really doesn't sound like music, just loud noise. i'll admit they get loud, not the loudest in the world, but sq is just piss poor.

Is that the amp you have or you are going to get? Audiobahn amps are moderate at best and overpriced, if you haven't bought it yet look up HiFonics BX1500D or BX1000D, or PG 1200.1 on e-bay, your money will be much better spent.

With the subs, audiobahn alums are dual 6ohm which would make it impossible to wire two of them to 2 ohms, you would need at least 4 of them to get the correct impedence, not to mention those subs die out really easy, even with under their rated power. I would look into some Kicker CVRs, Phoenix Gold Titaniums, or Alpine Type-R
