Subs scratching

I was reading through some post and people say if you press the cone of the sub and it screatches then it's blown. When I press the sub all the way in on the top, bottom, left, or right pretty hard I feel alittle scratching but if I press the dead center all the way in I don't hear or feel anything. Is that normal?

Yes...when you push in at an angle, you are moving the voicecoil out of the center of the gap. Your sub is fine.
