Subs RMS???

Heres my question I have a DC Level 3 10'' sub with an upgraded Level 4 coil and 1 extra spider. Someone has said that because it has the same motor that the 600 RMS rating for the Level 3 still applies to this sub. But im pretty sure that since it has an upgraded coil from a Level 4 and an extra spider that it will take 1,000 watts RMS just like the Level 4 does right???
