subs popping

does the amp indicate it is turning on and off (by the LED)?

when you put the second screw in did it twist the case of the amp or knick a pwer/ground wire or the remote turn-on lead? -- fuses OK?

start from the problem and work your way back.. remove that 2nd screw... see when or if the prob will go away... good luck

I have a similar problem when my system is on the sub makes a popping noise like its moving to a songs bass but it sounds bad and it also does it when the volume is on 0 i have to turn the HU off for it to stop. I think it may be a grounding problem but it only just started happening

Additinally, no need to reference "max" anything as those specs are useless. Most of know how to look at specs for a given speaker, amp, HU, etc...
