Ported box confusion for single RE 12" SE driver?

I have a 12" SE driver and am looking to build a ported SQL box for it. I'm trying to save space in my trunk so I went with a single driver. On the RE website (old site) there are 2 different designs i can see.

-Under SQ/SQL-volumes for the SE12 they recommend a 1.8 cuft ported box with 32Hz tuning frequency.

-Then under "single" driver designs a 12" SQL ported box is 2.5 cuft with 35Hz tuning.

Now the new site says 1.0 cuft compact and 1.25 cuft optimal, both of which are smaller boxes than the old site. They also don't check their email. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif

What size enclosure should I build for this driver and at what tuning frequency. I'm using a 400 watt class D directed amplifier.

I spoke too soon, it seems.

Found a few sources saying 1.8 cubes ported to 32Hz. Is this including displacement of the driver too though? Or does it need to be slightly larger...
