Subs on different resistances?

To start, I have an F150 standard cab with very little air space aprox 1.35 Cubes give or take behind my bench seat. In that space I'm installing SA-8 V2's @ 1Ohm powered by my Brx-20001D for 2K Rms. My question is, will I be happy with that amount of bass, and if I want more can I add another 8 to my setup in a box that fits between my dash and seat on the transmission column. I had a 10" located there in my old setup. Will I be able to run that sub at a different ohmerature, unlinked to the other subs, but connected to the amplifier. If it helps, the amp has one of those dual bridge single channel type setups. On a box related note, if this is possible, should I tune both boxes to the same hz for greater effect?
