Subs not hitting..help!!

Alright my current system is Two Pioneer A-series 3-Way 6x9 speakers running perfectly off of the radio power. And i just installed Two 10" Kicker Cvr Subs powered by a Alpine MRX-M100. My problem now is that when the music is playing the Subwoofers dont hit or make sound much at all. Everythings wired correctly, when I hook the wires up to my friends Subs his work great. But i was trying to adjust the knobs and they say Gain lvl, Bass eq, Subsonic, LP Lvl. Nothing i did made them sound better so i put them all back to 0. Does anyone know what the problem could be?

You should probley post this in the help forums. Buy anyway. How are the subs hooked up inside the box?......... I would put your lpf to around 80 and ssf around 25 and bass at 0 and lookup how to set your gain properly

To set ur gain properly u have to have a oscope it dd1 or something like that. If its a. Cheap system just turn it up till u hear distortion then turn it down a bit.

I set my gain like 2/5 the way upMy subsonic to about 50hz

Lpf to like 25hz

Make sure all ur settings on ur head unit are on 0.
your amp is set wrong to by the way.

I actually didn't set it. 1 of my buddies did. It's sitting in my room so I just looked at it. Lol I'm sure its waaayyy off tho.

Um, what? Lol
Turn your volume up the loudest you'll comfortably listen to it, then go to the amp and turn the gain up until it starts distorting and turn it down a little.

LPF should be 80-100

SSF 20-25
Maybe I looked at those backwards then. Lol Idk havnt used the amp in like 8 months its just been sitting in my room. And that's what I said turn it up til u hear distortion then turn it down.... At least I had that rite.

It sounds like you've got em wired wrong to me. Plus you aren't going to hear anything with the gain on 0. Go to Radio Shack and get a DMM and do it right. LPF should be around the 80 neighborhood but turning up the gain till the subs distort is not a good way to set the amp. What's the Voice Coil configuration on the Kickers?
