Subs making weird noises, need help

I"ve got a 1993 Ranger. I've got two twelves running off two amps. When I turn on the CD player, the subs pop a little and then start humming. Id doesnt' do it when the radio is on, only a CD. But the subs pop when i turn on the lights, windshield wipers, and push the brake pedal. I wired one of my grounds directly to the frame, and it still hums. Any imput would help me greatly. Thanks

If it works fine while operating the radio, I would say that it is a problem with the deck itself. Perhaps an upgrade in wiring would be necessary as well.

i think the deck needs re-grounded to either the battery or BARE metal. Also why is only one of your amps grounded to the frame? ground both of them to the same spot my man.

Thanks so much... I just grounded one amp to see if that fixed it today. and it didnt..and the Deck is a Pioneer 7700. So i'l try to ground it to the battery... anything else that may help in the process...possibly the RCA's?

Just make sure the RCA's arent' routed by the power wire or anything, other than that there isn't much else you can do besides test another deck.
