Would it be a good idea to replace the rear deck with a giant baffle board with 6.5s or 8" subs mounted in it with the trunk essential being the enclosure? Or would they need to have a box behind them to sound good?

Any1 done this?

I have, attatched a small sealed box to the underside of a rear deck in a car where the trunk space was still needed and modified the deck to fit 2 8"s, turned out pretty well

if you find the right sub you can run it Infinite Baffled.(seperate chambers for the front an rear waves. It need to be pretty sealed up for it to sound its best.

Brahmas are nice. I have a 10" Mk1. Just a single 10 was enough for me.
