Subs in Rear Deck?

Would it NOT be a good idea to fire two free air 12's from this deck with the window being so close and on such a sharp angle?

I'm more worried that the sound will be affected with something 1 inch from it and on an angle like that. I don't know enough about the physics, that's why i asked. Thanks

What subs are they? Have you done any work sealing up your trunk? You could potentially get them to sound REALLY good if they're suited well to that kind of airspace.

The subs haven't been decided. I've been going over a few different plans with building an enclosure for my JL's and nothing seemed right. So i need to get some free air 12's that'll work with my crossfire 150.2. Any thoughts?

I had one 12 sealed in my rear deck a couple years ago... Sounded pretty good, I'm sure it could have sounded better...

I don't think I'll go that route again.

It wasn't worth the trouble in my experience... the sound deadening and modification of my rear deck just wern't worth it to me. I'd rather do a good job in the trunk and be done... or better yet... get a hatchback, lol.

Just my opinion.
