I am thinking about putting 8 inch subs in my door, is it very important for them to be sealed tight or can they just be in the unsleaed door? what is the 8 inch sub with the LEAST mounting depth possible, AND what is the best sub amp i should go with, just for 2 simple 8's, just to add a nice punchy sound to my system. Thanks a lot

what should i seal it with? the doors are small its a hatchback, do i need that dynomat?? Thanks, again what subs and amp any recomended? visonik? dual? jk:veryhapp:

You don't have to have a sealed enclosure as long as your front and back waves are separated from each other. In this case, you can use a pair of free-air subs, which is what I'm doing. It's the bomb for midbass. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
