Subs in an extended cab pickup

Can anyone recommend a way to mount a subwoofer(s) in my '94 Sierra extended cab pickup? I need the legroom in the back, so the only real place I see mounting sub(s) would be under the rear bench seat somehow. I have about 10"high x 12"deep x the width of the interior of the truck.

I'm looking for a sub/amp combo that will sound good playing rock music. It doesn't have to be too too loud, but I don't want to underpower it either. I'll say I have about $350 to spend on a sub/amp setup. Any reccomendations

Okay... so I just went back out to the truck. I guess the space is smaller than I thought. I'm going to guess I have around 8" of height clearance. It's pretty cramped there.

Any other suggestions?

Alot of guys make bracket to raise the rear seat 2" or so, it will help alot to acheive more volume.

Not to derail the thread, but I saw your vid's on Youtube, and noticed the N. Did you buy those in Canada, or through ebay? I'm trying to find them for sale locally but with no luck.

Yeah you can't get them anywhere in canada. There is suppose to be a phoenix gold dealer in Van though. It has the place on their website. I got them off ebay. From Brooklyn, New York. It took only about 4days to get to me. I live way up North in Bc as well. In one day it jumped from brooklyn to ohio. Then vancouver. And up to me. I thought it was pretty fast. That was from Audiosavings off ebay. So the states don't have the N or L sign?

Not that I know of....I was lucky to get rid of the N before the new rules though.

I can't seem to find any dealer locations on the Rodin website, but maybe I'm not looking in the right place? Did you end up paying duties when you ordered through ebay? I saw it from a few sellers (audiosavings wasn't one of them though) but I'm also hesistant to buy from the states because I also get reamed by customs.

Well mine went basically straight through customs. Audiosavings has the shipping box well done. Has everything on it. So customs put it straight though. I just had to pay about $40 for customs I think. I think if you ordered from them. It would take a couple of days. They ship stuff pretty fast.

They make boxes specifically for your truck.. This at least will give you an idea of what kind of mounting depth and airspace you'll have to work with..

just go to a stereo shop....they have boxes just for extended cabs and you can get tens or twelves and then just mount the amp behind the seat

Because if you heard that sub. Its friggin crazy. Its very loud and sounds really good doing it.
