Subs get so loud then....

Well to start off my subs are RE SE 12's and they wang pretty good at around volume of 11-14 but once you go higher than that they seem to almost get quiter....anybody got any clue what could be the reason and also guys I just did the big three like 4 days ago and every since then my subs every once in awhile cut off while playing at high volumes for a littlle bit if i turn the volume down they come back on....any clue on this thanks guys

Sounds like clipping. Set your gain on your amp with a DMM.

ur amp is getting hot and cutting off. turn your gains bown a little bit.

first all the smart comments can be kept on your keyboards...some people are such idiots..anyways hmmm not sure the amp is clipping...the gain is not even halfway and its an Audiopipe 15001D and it never did this before I did the big three either...thas also the only electrical upgrade i've done so far

Did you double check your wiring? Maybe you have a bad ground.

Yep, I would check the ground wire...........x that, check all the wiring you recently have done.

i had an amp that did this one time a few years back, no matter what i tried it would always cut in an out with more and less power. i ended up just getting rid of it.
