Subs for Cheap

subs for budget. thats what I started out looking for a year ago. Didn't research much, wish I had. Bought kenwood kfc3009 12's. Most people on here say they hate kenwood subs or at the very least there are better values for the money.

My experience with These KFCs has been pretty overall posistive however. I Listen mostly to hiphop and such and these things really seem to hit very hard on the low end. I'm driving them a little harder than what they are supposed to be also and so far know problems there either. My only complaint with these is that I also jam rock sometimes and these dont seem to do much in that scene with my setup.

the L5 12 is your best bet put it in a 2.5-3.0cf box with the rms and stand back and witch things bounce of your trunk lid with no problem

if youre willing to spend a lil more, memphis m-classes (with their sexy carbon fiber goodness) are very good for the price. I have 2 of the 2005 models, and i have had nothing to complain about for almost a year of use. I was overdriving them by almost twice what they were rated for too, so they must be pretty tough.

EDIT: the reason i took em out was cuz they wont fit in my current vehicle, so i got a single 12" type-X
