Subs for a quad cab

sup guys....

I just got a 04 dodge ram quad cab.. i was wonderin what i can put in under the seat, since i no theres not much space there either. I have a JL 1000/1 and im keepin that bad boy cuz i save up for it for a while. I was also wonderin what would u go with, (10's or 12's) that can handle the power, and also witch kind of sub I'm more into SQ or SQL subs also... im not big into shaken the block.. but i just want something to play the low ends.... music type everything soo a well rounded sub would work... thanks guys for the advice...

Usually in trucks like that I do the shallow mounts. jbl gto's have worked very well. Ude have to be easy on the gains though.

No problem, I got a 2001 Ram quad cab myself, I think your backseat is a tad different then mine. But one of the boxes on ebay said mine could take up to 9" of depth.

I've got a JL Audio Stealthbox out of the 2004 QC I used to own that I'm looking to sell. JL 10w3v2 in it. It's in perfect shape. I used it about a year. Got really detailed bass from it. LMK if you're interested.

If you can do fiberglass, you'll make a lot better use of the available space under the seat. Let me know if you have any questions installing your system. Mine turned out pretty well.

why not go with some 8's? you can get some that really wang
