Subs for 2 Rockford bd1001 2002 models?

I currently have 2 rockford bd1001 putting out about 1200 watts each and I am looking for some 12's to match them with. The amps are 2 ohm stable so I would need a dual 4ohm sub. Any suggestions.? No budget! Just looking for something solid. My electrical system consist of 1 yellow top battery, 5 farad alumapro capacitor, 1/0 wiring, big 3 wiring and stock alternator (about 120amps). I really need some subs though!! Any suggestions?

before we cud recommend we needa know your goal? SQ SPL??? most bang for dollar??? this stuff helps

i'd say 2 old rf hx2 12s if u cud find them

x2 on the power hx2's... they're awesome subs but they're hard to find

I just sold my hx2's because they were not enough! I am looking between sq and spl. This car will be a daily driver. With my old hx2 setup I did about 130 on the meter, ask which one I am not sure. A friend of mine has one and at the time it was the latest one. if 2 rf's hx2's with 2300+wrms were only doing 130 then something must be wrong.

I think that your boxes are not big enough for the hx2's IMO - i would do 2.5cubes and tune them a little higher like 33hz-35hz but that's just me.

yea i would deff change up the box thats what i do, when i get tired of my setup i build a new box... two rf hx2 12s should at least break 144 on a burp which is alot louder than 130...

I did not have the power hx2's just the regular dvc's. rms 500 peak 1000. Is that what you are refering to? I have heard these subs in just about every box but I just want more.
