Subs Firing Angle?

So im going to be doing a build for a buddy of mine, However im not to sure what type of box to do. He will be running 4 10" subs. This box will be in a Nissan titan pick up truck. Now my question is, should we do a up fire box or a forward fire box? any pro or cons?

Why is he letting you build his box if you dont know how? Subs up, port up... What subs and amp are you running. How many watts is the amp at 4 ohms RMS and what is the power handling of each sub?

who ever said anything about a port and running at 4 ohms..

have you ever dealt with a sub box that goes under a seat of a truck?

i do have to agree my first post was vague about the setup.

To possible clean things up and get a little more input.

Subs will be 4 ten inch Alpine type R's sealed

Off of two T1500 Rockford amps.

Box will be under the back seat, so i can either up fire the subs or forward fire. Forward fire would give a slight more advantage in airspace of .2 but can cause issues as subs could be kicked and be damaged.

fire up if sealed, will keep them from getting kicked like stated, probably look cleaner but make sure you have clearance under seat.

i had 12 g3s in my titan with 2 gtrs the pics are on here somewhere a couple of magnets will give u a seat lift in that truck and give you more space. my back seat was more comphy with the seat lift. if he want to save some head ache i still have that set up i will sell him
