subs dont play music!!!????!!!??!?!?!?!

hey, i have a kenwood KAC-7572 connected to 2 subwoofers. all the connections are tight and secure, none of the fuses are blown, and the light on it is red when start the car yet no sound comes out of the subs...can any1 help me?

Is the amp in protect? Is the sub out on your HU on? It can be a large number of things.

Unplug the subs and RCAs from the amp and see if its still in protect.

how do you have them wired. are they dual voice coil? what ohm?

its a 2 channel amp and i have them bridged or in series/ they are single coils

thats your problem right there. You have them bridged to a 2ohm load and that amp would have to be 1ohm stable to run a 2ohm bridge.

you need to wire them to an 8ohm load and bridge to that.

yup, bridging a stereo class A\B amp 95% of the time, below 4ohm wont last long.

so i just went and wired them in parallel but then i turned the car on and its still in protect mode

have you tried unplugging the rcas and speakers then letting it turn on and seeing it if stays in protect? I am pretty sure the way it was wired is what put it into protect now we just got to get it to get off protect.
