subs dont hit hard but used to

if he had them bridged and you dont that is the problem... lol decreasing ohms by half doubles power output. If he had them bridged then bridge those *****es.
Bridging amplifier channels is done before it even sees a load, so it doesn't have anything to do with cutting your resistance in half.
 
Bridge that amp amd make **** sure that your positives are going to your positives. Or go out there to the car and switch one speakers pos and negative around and see they are just wired out of phase.

 
ok so i tried to brudge the amp and it worked but i can only bridge 2of the 4 channels because i think the other 2 are blown since the put out no sound when subs are hooked up even unbridged. so what do i do now. i know the amp is bridgable down to 2 channels. is there sme simple thing i am overlooking or do i have to get the amp fixed? also do i have to bridge the 2 inpit channels with a splitter to be able to bridge the amp down to 2 channels? thanks for help,
