So im finished my system ready to get the type rs and the amp in, make a video, etc. and i put the sub in and theres a gap about 1 1/4 high from the wood where the subs are suppose to sit to where they're currently sitting. The box was custom made from a guy on here just contacted him but in the meantime can i sand the cutouts or anything without f***ing the box up?

you're probably going to have to take a jig saw to it.

If it is that high out you will be sanding for hours.

Pretty screwed up that he f'd up your cut outs. If he isn't local you should get a partial refund.
