Subs don't bang as hard?

Is it just me, or do subs bang less in the mornings? A friend noticed this with his truck, and I was like hmmm.... and then I noticed it with my truck as well! It's not really a big deal, but I'd like to see if there's an explanation for this and if you guys have noticed this with your truck as well?

Cold surround/suspension?

Also if you want to get REALLY scientific then I believe the air inside the enclosure will also respond differently at different temperatures.

Pretty much, but I wouldn't say that's going REALLY scientific haha. Cooler more dense air inside AND outside the enclosure will make the enclosure and subs react differently. Should also change the tuning frequency a bit.

The colder it is the louder mine is. As far as driving vs sitting "zigzag" idk my voltage stays higher when I am driving so I get more power which means louder. Might be the noise you hear that drowns out some of the volume.
