Subs died, please help!

I was driving along, volume where it normally is and suddenly my subs died, capacitor died, amp died. All three have no power and no response, i'm not the most electonically savvy guy so i dont know what to do.. someone please give me some good news

Running a JL500 amp, Tsunami 2 farad capacitor, and 2 Audiobhan AWC10T subs, running those off an Alpine 9813 head unit which is still working fine..

check your power wire the platic around the wire my have been sliced opened and you might be hitting your car body and shorted it out

haha, they were better than tweeter around here.. but yea... cause i didn't have a lto fo options =( too late now though.. i need to fix this... goign to check if any wires are touching metal- if anyone else knows whats going on lpease help me

Check the fuse on your power wire under you hood, if you have one. If everything went out all at once, that could be it.

i can't find any wires that are exposed, everything is covered in electrical tape, plastic hose coverings, or rubber

running from my battery under the hood the power wire has a clear plastic peice spliced into it.. i'm pretty sure that would be the fuse but could i get a confirmation on this? At the time everything died down i was playing some pretty loud stuff, lot of bass

can you look at the fuse in the fuse holder?

yea that's it, just looked and it's burned up, connection is broken... i'm pretty happy it's something small like that.. where can i get a new fuse for this? what kind of specs should i be looking for?

i gotta head out in like 10 minutes so if anyone can suggest where to go and what to buy to replace the old fuse that would rock

auto zone if its a ref. blade fuse and a car audio shop is your better bet if its a inline fuse
