Subs cutting out

Another little update...I reconfigued the coil to show a 4 ohm load on the amp and played it at high volume most of the way home and the sub never cut off...Also didnt get any light dimming either and the amp was at 54F when I checked it when I got home. Do you think its possible that the amp is indeed going in protect mode even though its not showing it on the amp?? Should I replace the ground wire or find a new ground spot...Also my alternator is 105 amps...would it be alright to use some around 15ft of streetwire 4ga to do the big 3 upgrade or should I buy some 0ga.

hey if you dont know at least ur smart enough to ask so not stupid ?s.

ALWAY use the same size or bigger ground as ur power wire. i have seen this blow amps up before. ur safe with 4g with this amp...

Cool well Imma go see if I can find some cheap 4g wire around my town...I also found a trade for my alpine type r this weekend....but Ive been playing my 2ohm sub wired at 4 ohms for the past 2 days with absolutely no cut outs....Amp also havent went into the 100s in temps these past 2 days either so Im guessing it has something to do with my amp then....ill let this thread die now until I get my ground wire updated and my other sub put back in...and see what happens...
